Philadelphia Travel App in ASL

ImageFor those of you planning a trip to Philadelphia, I recommend an app called “Philadelphia History This Way ASL.”  This app provides valuable travel information including an interactive map (which utilizes your location), as well as a list of popular tourist destinations.  The app is complete with valuable information including a summary of each attraction, photos, the hours, the admission fee, a link to the attraction’s website, and a tour video provided in ASL (with English audio).  This is a great tool for those of you wishing to take a self-guided tour of historic Philadelphia.  After reviewing the app myself, the only glitch I found was with the video provided for the Liberty Bell Center.  Unfortunately, this video is provided only in English without subtitles; however, all of the other videos are presented in ASL by Linsay Darnall Jr.  The “Philadelphia History This Way ASL” app is designed for both iPad and iPhone, providing travel information at your fingertips.  If you wish to purchase this app, it is available at the iTunes store for $0.99.
