Hit up Hong Kong, a country filled with goodies and an upcoming Deaf conference

Go to Hong Kong for the following:

  • the Avenue of Stars, complete with a life size statue of Bruce Lee
  • countless street markets with cheap but fun clothing, tech accessories, souvenirs, snacks, drinks, and variety of people to scope out
  • delicacies, especially DIM SUM at a local tea house
  • the world’s tallest outdoor seated Buddha at 34m tall
As well as the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf hosting the 24th World Federation of the Deaf Regional Secretarit in Asia/Pacific representative meeting, the 4th WFD RSAP Youth Section meeting, and the 5th WASLI Asia meeting. It will run from November 27th to 30th, 2012 at the Youth Square in Chai Wan, on the east side of the Hong Kong island.
