The DeafNation World Expo 2012 in Las Vegas is only a few weeks away. This event is a popular, touring trade show that is expected to attract 30,000 Deaf people from around the globe. Admission is free to the public and will include exhibitions, workshops, entertainment, sporting activities, presentations, and networking opportunities. This includes a Deaf Artist Gallery, Kid Zone, DeafNation Award Winners announcements, and the DeafNation Inspiration Awards Reception. During the week, attendees may also be interested in watching games for USA Deaf Basketball (July 31) or for the National Softball Association of the Deaf (August 2 – 4). For those who would like to attend, there will be a formal reception held for the DeafNation Inspiration Award winners. Tickets must be purchased in advanced for this event, but this includes a three course meal, the awards program, and the opportunity to meet the Inspiration Award recipients.
